Our bodies heavily depend on our big joints; the shoulder, hip and knee. They are also the joints that can cause most problems when we get older, when we injure ourselves or when we rely too much on them. In our studio we already help a lot of clients to get stronger - or more flexible - because of issues with their joints. But we know there are many more people out there who don’t know the benefits of the Pilates Method to help with joint issues.
ArrowPilates | Classical Studio is proud to organise the workshop series Three Joints Back-to-Front on Wednesday 25 August, 8 September and 22 September in collaboration with physiotherapist Amy McDonald from Queenstown Health.
Attend all workshops for $400
Price per workshop $150
Maximum of 8 guests per workshop
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
What is the function of the shoulder, hip and knee joint?
What are the potential problems that can occur with these joints? Why do these problems happen?
What pilates exercises will help you prevent joint problems and/or can improve issues?
Which classical Pilates apparatus can be used to address joint issues?
WHAT IS THE STRUCTURE?
We think that each joint is ‘big’ enough for one workshop hence why we offer a series of three. We advise you to attend the complete series to get to know all the joints + the appropriate exercises. However, you are welcome to attend one, two or all of them.
Included in each 2hr workshop:
15 minute mat workout
30 minute anatomy of each joint
75 minute pilates exercises to explore the joint (shoulder, hip, knee) using all studio equipment
Take-away sheet with exercises you can do at home
WHAT ARE THE TERMS & CONDITIONS?
Payments are unconditional. Refunds are possible with a written notice up to 7 days prior the workshop. After that, there are no refunds. Cancellations are possible up 7 days prior to the workshop with a full refund. After that you can cancel but refunds will not be processed. You may want to pass on your purchase to someone else.
WHO IS OUR AUDIENCE?
Anyone interested in learning (more) about the three joints, wanting to learn specific pilates exercises and a range of equipment that are part of the Classical Pilates system. For participants new to Pilates, it is a comfortable way to get to know the Pilates Method without having to sign up.
